Rental agreement, Autopay & ID check

This payment-policy addendum is provided by JM Mini Storage. Read it together with the full rental agreement. For the dates and terms below, this addendum replaces conflicting payment-policy wording in the linked agreement.

Autopay is required

All tenants are expected to pay rent by authorized automatic payment (Autopay) through Stripe. Autopay requires your authorization, a valid supported payment method, and automatic collection enabled for your rental subscription. Saving a card alone does not necessarily enable Autopay.

$5 Autopay discount

Every tenant on Autopay gets $5 off monthly rent. New rentals get it from move-in. Current tenants get it starting with the first bill after they turn on Autopay in the tenant portal. If Autopay is turned off, the discount stops with the next bill.

No non-Autopay fee

No extra fee is charged for paying without Autopay. The $25 non-Autopay fee announced in an earlier version of this page is withdrawn and will not be billed.

Rent must be paid on time

Rent is due on your billing date. Late fees and other remedies in your rental agreement and Georgia law (O.C.G.A. 10-4-210 et seq.) apply to unpaid rent. Unpaid balances may be referred for collection. A failed automatic payment is not by itself proof that you did not enroll; contact the office to resolve failed payments.

ID verification with Stripe

Tenants are asked to verify their identity once using Stripe Identity from the tenant portal. Stripe collects and stores your ID document and selfie under the Stripe Privacy Policy. JM Mini Storage receives only the result (verified or not) and does not keep copies of your ID.

Your payments and records

Stripe processes billing and keeps invoices, payment history and ID results. Cloudflare hosts the property portal, unit records and service requests. JM Mini Storage keeps copies of emails and text messages sent about your account. Neither platform independently determines the terms of your rental agreement. Only the amounts on your Stripe invoice are payable through its payment link.

For existing agreements, changes apply subject to the agreement's amendment provisions and applicable notice requirements. Publication of this page does not itself record your consent to recurring charges or replace any required individual notice.
